Care Doctors is a charity movement started in 2019 by the Care Association. It aims to bring healing to Africans who do not have access to health services. Care Association has organized a health camp in Pangani for the second time.
More than 100 surgeries and 250 cataract surgeries were performed with our volunteer doctors. The inability to perform simple surgeries that would make people's lives easier in Africa is a humanitarian tragedy for the region. According to WHO data, more than 10 million people in Africa have lost their sight due to cataracts. Care Doctors started a 6-day health camp to solve this problem and 250 cataract surgeries were successfully completed. In addition, 120 operations such as general surgery, hernia and pediatric surgery were performed. The success of the project was made possible by the support of our volunteer Care Doctors and benefactors.
